Sumario:Education is the social practice that allowsand promotes the acquisition of skills, knowledge, andthe broadening of both individual and collective horizons. The Argentine Education System comprises thefollowing levels: initial, primary, secondary, and highereducation; the last year of initial level being mandatoryas well as the following two levels. Higher Educationincludes state or private (authorized) universities anduniversity institutes –in accordance with the denomination established by Act Nr. 24521– and national andprovincial higher education institutes under public orprivate management. Articulation between secondaryschool and higher education has been fully analyzed inmany recent investigations. In this context, the NexosProgram arises, which is a tool that organizes jointaction areas between higher education institutions andsecondary schools. It is promoted by the Secretary forUniversity Policies of Argentina through the RegionalBoards of Higher Education Planning. The program wasfirst issued in 2016 and it started to be implementedin Santa Fe in 2018. The present work is intended togive an account of that experience in 2019 as regardsthe case of School Nr. 511 ‘Juana Azurduy’ in SantaFe (Argentina).
