Recursos com o maior grau de semelhança com a obra projetada ou original, os protótipos e réplicas são elementos de extrema importância na compreensão das características espaciais da arquitetura. Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre o uso desse tipo de modelo físico que, sobretudo por limitações de ordem econômica, é escassamente utilizado na antecipação da arquitetura.
