En segundo término, abordaremos su recuperación de la inmanencia spinoziana, que resulta el trasfondo que permite entender qué determinaciones le adjudica Negri al trabajo vivo como fundamento ontológico del capital. Finalmente, recorreremos algunas de las tesis adelantadas por Althusser en Para un materialismo aleatorio, que resultan la apoyatura básica de la interpretación de Negri. Nuestra hipótesis es que el encuentro entre ellos ocurre porque ambos depositan la potencia revolucionaria en un principio ahistórico, siendo esto el resultado del rechazo a la carga teleológica que le asignan a la negatividad hegeliana. Así, tanto Althusser como Negri postulan que la transformación revolucionaria de la sociedad depende de una condición que no se produce en su interior: una potencia que el capital no subsume, en el caso de Negri, y un encuentro contingente que no se prefigura en la estructura que interrumpe, en el de Althusser. The present work addresses Negri’s reading of Althusser. Its aim is to show some points that sustain the confluence between both philosophers. First, we will characterize what Negri understands by real subsumption. Secondly, we will approach his take of Spinozian immanence, which is the background that allows us to understand which are the determinations that Negri attributes to living labor as the ontological foundation of capital. Finally, we will go through some of the theses brought forward by Althusser in Sur le matérialisme aléatoire, which are the basic support for Negri’s interpretation. Our hypothesis is that the encounter between Althusser and Negri occurs because both place the revolutionary power in an ahistorical principle, which results from the rejection of the teleological burden that both attribute to the Hegelian negativity. Thus, Althusser and Negri postulate that the revolutionary transformation of society depends on a condition that does not happen in its interior: a power that the capital does not subsume, in the case of Negri, and a contingent encounter that is not prefigured in the structure that interrupts, in Althusser’s.
