It focuses on a set of scenes that are considered to condense some of the main bets, challenges and tensions of the context. The inquiry concludes that Clarín intervened in rehearsing new accounts and interpretations about the present, about the past and about his own performance during the dictatorial regime, as well as on the future, that allowed him to become a valid in- terlocutor within the new transitional consensus. El presente artículo se interroga por los modos en los que la cuestión de los Derechos Humanos fue representada, evocada y elaborada en los discursos construidos por Clarín entre 1981 y 1983 . A partir de un análisis de lo publicado por el diario, el abordaje propuesto focaliza en un conjunto de escenas que se considera condensan algunas de las principales apuestas, desafíos y tensiones propias del contexto. La indagación concluye que el diario Clarín intervino ensayando nuevos relatos e interpretaciones sobre el presente, sobre el pasado y sobre su sobre el presente, sobre el pasado y sobre su propia actuación durante el régimen dictatorial, así como en relación al porvenir, que le permitieron erigirse en un interlocutor válido dentro del nuevo consenso transicional.
