The Association was distinguished by its strong commitment to defending human rights and constitutional guarantees, notably advocating for political prisoners and providing legal services to the most marginalized sectors of society. This study seeks to elucidate the formation of the local group in the late 1960s, identify its member lawyers, detail the various actions they undertook in the city of Santa Fe, and finally, examine its gradual disintegration with the intensification of repression in the city towards the end of 1974 and the beginning of 1975. Este artículo tiene como objetivo reconstruir el origen y las dinámicas de funcionamiento de la Asociación de Abogados de Santa Fe. Esta fue una agrupación interna del Colegio de Abogados de la Primera Circunscripción Judicial, conformado por abogados y abogadas de la ciudad. Protagonizando un fuerte compromiso con la defensa de los Derechos Humanos y las garantías constitucionales, la Asociación se destacó por la defensa de presos políticos y por poner el ejercicio del Derecho al servicio de los sectores más relegados. Este escrito busca dilucidar la conformación de la Agrupación local hacia fines de los años ‘60, delimitar sus abogados integrantes, las diversas acciones que desarrollaron en la ciudad de Santa Fe y, por último, su progresiva disgregación con el avance de la represión en la ciudad hacia fines de 1974 y principios de 1975.
