These texts are examined in order to identify Etkin's theoretical perspective on musical analysis, theory and methodology. In addition, I seek to connect his thinking with his musical and aesthetic interests, as well as his artistic poetics. Este texto explora un aspecto de la producción del compositor y docente argentino Mariano Etkin: sus textos analíticos, fruto de su labor como director de varios proyectos de investigación en la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). Se examinan estos textos para identificar la perspectiva teórica que Etkin tenía sobre el análisis musical, la teoría y la metodología. Además, se busca conectar su pensamiento con sus intereses musicales, estéticos y su poética artística.
