| Sumario: | Faced with the systemic process of ecosystem collapse, we need to implement new epistemic, aesthetic and ethical strategies. After having observed and analyzed the world, we now have to "listen to it." The dimension of listening has become the key issue of our planetary civilization. Indeed, current capitalism is a production system essentially based on a new form of instrumental listening that produces and seeks to subjugate. Therefore, it is necessary to conceive and practice an authentic listening capacity, which I call "sound ecosophy", to transform the current desire for audience into a process of emancipation. The notion of sentipensar, introduced by the sociologist Orlando Fals Borda in 1986 and taken up by Arturo Escobar in the title of his beautiful book published in 2014 Sentipensar con la tierra, is thematized for the enunciation of a new aesthetic aimed at updating an aisthesis of the listen to the world. |
