En el presente trabajo presentaré algunos problemas relacionados con la traducción al español de Edipo rey, de Sófocles, especialmente en relación con lo que implica la apropiación de la obra desde nuestro español argentino. Para ello, luego de presentar una serie de reflexiones generales en torno a la traducción de textos clásicos en general, presentaré algunos ejemplos en los que aparecen las dificultades señaladas.
