Thus, the changes that can be seen in the sound are linked to the meaning that the communities give to the ritual, and are observed as the generations pass. Los cantos de Doctrinas del Dpto. de Yavi (en la provincia argentina de Jujuy) entonados durante la Cuaresma y el Viernes Santo constituyen una manifestación cultural reservada para el ritual de dicha época. La dinámica de este rito sigue siendo muy sensible a las coyunturas histórica y socioeconómica no solo de la región sino del país. Así, los cambios que se aprecian en lo sonoro están ligados al significado que otorgan las comunidades al ritual y se observan a medida que pasan las generaciones.
