Este trabajo busca explorar el uso del concepto de territorio, su problematización analítica y el alcance que se le da en los artículos que se publican en revistas científicas de Geografía editadas por universidades argentinas. Se construyó un corpus analítico de 260 artículos con la palabra “territorio” y otras asociadas en el título, que fue analizado cualitativamente teniendo en cuenta definiciones y usos más habituales del concepto. Los resultados muestran que en el 61 % de los casos no se define el concepto y es usado como referencia geográfica general. En el 24 % se plantea una definición teórica pero no hay una problematización en el análisis del artículo. En el 15 % restante hay definición teórica y problematización en el análisis. En estos dos últimos grupos de artículos, se advierte una fuerte influencia teórica de autores brasileros. Por su parte, se advierte una concentración diferencial del último grupo en algunas revistas específicas, lo cual abre preguntas respecto de sus posibles conexiones con las tradiciones académicas de las universidades que las editan. |
