We set out to investigate the recent past content teaching through reading practices in first grade. It is of a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory nature. We design a didactic sequence to promote autonomous readers about the recent past and we analyze the situations and teaching interventions that promote reading to learn. We will focus on reading situations through the teacher, on reading exchanges regarding murga songs with reference to the recent past and on the construction of memory, which give clues and provide evidence of the potential of shared readings to learn a specific content. En el presente artículo compartiremos parte de la investigación realizada para el Trabajo Final Integrador en el marco de la Especialización en Escritura y Alfabetización de la FaHCE-UNLP. Nos propusimos investigar la enseñanza del contenido pasado reciente a través de las prácticas de lectura en primer grado. La misma es de carácter cualitativo, descriptivo y exploratorio. Diseñamos una secuencia didáctica para promover lectores autónomos sobre el pasado reciente y analizamos las situaciones e intervenciones docentes que promueven la lectura para aprender. Haremos foco en las situaciones de lectura a través del maestro, en los intercambios lectores a propósito de canciones de murga con referencia al pasado reciente y en la construcción de memoria, que dan indicios y otorgan evidencias de la potencialidad de las lecturas compartidas para aprender un contenido específico.
