Sumario:In the last quarter of the twentieth century, a series of military dictatorships were established in the countries of the Southern Cone of Latin America, which implemented State Terrorism as a tool to discipline and control the population. Once democracy had been restored, in some countries, the families of the disappeared organized themselves in order to demand justice for the victims. From this process, the Justice was not exempt, which had to go through transformations to adapt to the new context linked to the incorporation of Human Rights into international law and its adaptation to the national jurisprudence of each country, which is why not only the military but also the civilian accomplices –judges, were tried,  businessmen, priests– who accompanied or concealed information referring to the repressive process.  For this reason, the purpose of this work is to analyze the role of federal justice in Tucumán between 1975 and 1983 from the study of various cases linked to political militants, the ways in which their causes were caratulated, the violation of their constitutional rights, their incorporation into the clandestine detention circuits and complicity with the repressive apparatus. To this end, three judicial cases will be taken as the axis of analysis, Romero Niklison and his complaints; Manlio Torcuato Martínez and his denunciation and the Megacausa Operativo Independencia, from which the role of justice in the selected period will be the role of justice in the selected period.
