Among them, the small and medium–sized agrarian’s producers, badly hit by the commercial opening that allowed thee importation of locally produced goods, who protested against the economic model and its’s change. As a result of this process, the Chajarí tent was installed, in the north of Entre Ríos, on Route 14, key in trade with Brazil and Paraguay. Consequently, in this paper I intend to approach, from newspaper sources, the study of the Chajarí tent during 2001, taking into account the actions carried out, their demands, the way in which they constructed their discourse in the context of the national and province crisis, and the organizational forms they used in the dynamics of the conflict. During this, we observed the formation of a social force based on the alliances that the agrarian producers were able to establish with other sectors, transcending the initial economic–corporate demands (such as the profitability of the sector) to a struggle oriented for the change of the «model». La crisis del 2001 golpeó fuertemente a un conjunto de sectores sociales en Entre Ríos, que salieron a las calles y rutas a plantear sus demandas. Los pequeños y medianos productores agrarios, muy golpeados por la apertura comercial que permitió la importación de mercancías producidas localmente, también protestaron contra el modelo económico y por su cambio. Fruto de ese proceso se instaló la carpa en Chajarí, norte entrerriano, sobre la ruta nacional 14, clave en el comercio con Brasil y Paraguay. En consecuencia, en este escrito me propongo abordar, a partir de fuentes hemerográficas, el estudio de la carpa de Chajarí durante el 2001 atendiendo a las acciones desplegadas, sus demandas, el modo en que construyeron su discurso en el contexto de la crisis nacional y provincial, y las formas organizativas que utilizaron en la dinámica del conflicto. Durante este, observamos la conformación de una fuerza social a partir de las alianzas que los productores agrarios fueron capaces de establecer con otros sectores, trascendiendo las demandas económico–corporativas iniciales (como la rentabilidad del sector) a una lucha orientada por el cambio del «modelo».
