We go deeper into the importance of UPAs and citizen actions and projects to create new ones, especially the Urban Protected Areas and the Neighbourhood Organizations Networks in CABA in the resistance against those who, without a social license, are trying to take away natural public green areas for the business of a few. We promote a paradigm shift in the way we inhabit this planet in defence of territories and biodiversity to share among all beings that inhabit the Pacha, and we encourage the implementation of this in cities as well. We mention some pending projects to expand the spaces of respect and expansion of biodiversity, such as ecological corridors and new protected areas. It is time to make necessary changes to avoid collapse. Law must respond to support the path towards Environmental and Climate Justice. Saving what we have left of Nature will help us to live an Urban Buen Vivir. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar cómo surgieron las APU en CABA a partir de la iniciativa ciudadana, cómo diferentes movimientos debieron luchar para su reconocimiento normativo y cómo seguimos en lucha porque hay permanentes ataques de las políticas extractivista que pretenden avanzar sobre ellas. Profundizamos en la importancia de las APU y las acciones y proyectos ciudadanos para crear nuevas, especialmente de la Red de Áreas protegidas urbanas y de la Red de organizaciones barriales en CABA en la resistencia frente a quienes sin licencia social pretenden quitarnos áreas verdes naturales públicas para el negocio de pocos. Promovemos un cambio de paradigma de cómo habitamos este planeta en defensa de los territorios y la biodiversidad para compartir entre todos los seres que habitamos la Pacha y propiciamos que también lo implementemos en las ciudades. Mencionamos algunos proyectos pendientes para ampliar los espacios de respeto y expansión de la biodiversidad como los de corredores ecológicos y nuevas áreas protegidas. Es hora de llevar adelante los cambios necesarios para evitar el colapso. El Derecho debe dar una respuesta para apoyar el camino hacia la Justicia Ambiental y Climática. Salvar lo que queda de Naturaleza, nos ayudará al Buen Vivir urbano.
