We will focus on tracking the strategies and resources used by the films to shape the female characters, taking as a hypothesis that these constructions reinforce the prejudices that come from the real world. Moreover, we suggest to inquire about the historical context: Argentina’s 2001 economic, political and social crisis. We propose an interdisciplinary journey that weaves together gender, history, communication, and cinema. The corpus of films is made up of: Abrígate (Costafreda, 2007) and Pagafantas (Cobeaga, 2009). O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a representação das inmigrantes argentinas em filmes de ficção produzidos na Espanha entre 2002 e 2010. Interessa-nos questionar nas estratégias que empregam os filmes para a construção de personagens femeninos que sustentam um modelo predeterminado que reforçam os preconceitos do mundo real, e seu contexto histórico: a crise econômica, política e social argentina de 2001. Para isso, propomos uma rota interdisciplinar que entrelaça o gênero, a história, a comunicação e o cinema. O corpus fílmico é composto pelos filmes espanhóis: Abrígate (Costafreda, 2007) e Pagafantas (Cobeaga, 2009) En este artículo proponemos analizar la representación de las inmigrantes argentinas en el cine de ficción producido en España entre los años 2002 y 2010. Nos interesa indagar en las estrategias que utilizan los filmes para construir personajes femeninos que refuerzan los prejuicios del mundo real, y su contexto histórico: la crisis económica, política y social argentina del 2001. Para ello proponemos un recorrido interdisciplinar que entrama los estudios de género, la historia, la comunicación y el cine. El corpus fílmico está compuesto por las ficciones españolas: Abrígate (Costafreda, 2007) y Pagafantas (Cobeaga, 2009).
