Its absence from the annals of the Cultural History of Argentina and Rosario is diagnosed, testimonies are recovered and the textual production of the workshop is reviewed in order to state as the main hypothesis that it worked as a micro society or intellectual formation due to its subversive features that disowned the habitus within the academic field, in spite of not defying the subsistence of the active dogmatism. O artigo oferece uma abordagem para o estudo da constituição, funcionamento e declínio da Oficinade História das Mentalidades, que funcionou entre 1990 e 1999 na Faculdade de Ciências Humanas e Artes da Universidade Nacional de Rosário. Diagnosticando sua ausência nos anais da história cultural da Argentina e Rosário, os depoimentos são recuperados e revisa a produção escrita do workshop, para sustentar como a principal hipótese de que ele funcionou no estilo de uma micro sociedade ou formação intelectual devido às suas características subversivas que ignoraram o habitus do campo académico embora sem desafiar a sobrevivência do dogmatismo atual. El artículo ofrece una aproximación al estudio de la constitución, funcionamiento y declive del Taller de Historia de las Mentalidades que funcionara entre 1990 y 1999 en la Facultad de Humanidades y Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Diagnosticando su ausencia en los annales de la historia cultural argentina y rosarina, se recuperan testimonios y reseña la producción escrituraria del taller, para sostener como hipótesis principal que funcionó al estilo de una microsociedad o formación intelectual por los rasgos subversivos que desconocieron el habitus del campo académico, aunque sin desafiar la supervivencia del dogmatismo vigente.
