El apoyo a los sistemas de ahorro interno y de la Alianza para el Progreso caracterizaron los lineamientos llevados adelante. Materializados a principios de la década del 70, los barrios “Plan VEA” y “300 viviendas” se localizan al sur del área central de la ciudad de Corrientes, con un entorno urbano que en los últimos años experimentó cambios por la ocupación de espacios inicialmente libres de edificación. Actualmente, ambos barrios se encuentran plenamente integrados a la trama urbana en un sector que en los últimos años evidenció un importante desarrollo inmobiliario, acompañado con la extensión de infraestructura urbana, de acuerdo al análisis de la categoría de evolución demográfica y documentación gráfica de las fuentes analizadas.  Social interest housing assumes a significant role in shaping the urban fabric of the city, manifested by the materialization of neighborhood groups carried forward through the operations implemented by credit institutions.
