It was and is about overcoming stupor, misunderstanding and trying to understand, for which this space for dialogue in which we participate is highly significant.Indeed, in order to teach our discipline since the 2020s, with the conviction that historical knowledge makes it possible to understand our world and life in democracy on a larger scale, we traveled a path without certainties or consecrated truths, but without a doubt, biased by ideas, representations, practices and the pre-determined order of what is desirable, all of which we had to analyze, trying to envision new possibilities and disciplinary and didactic problems in a world in transformation, absolutely conditioned by a relentless pandemic, therefore, and immersing ourselves in the flow of these times and the commitment to historical education, we swim against the current from the current demands and conflicts, with proposals, in our opinion, stimulating for our present and its projections for the future, especially in this moment of strengthened hopes for the recovery of attendance and direct contact with our students and colleagues. |

El artículo propone reflexiones y procedimientos del equipo de la cátedra de Historia Social General correspondiente al 1° año de las carreras que se cursan en la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, en torno a las exigencias que la pandemia del COVID 19 nos planteó a partir del año 2020. Se trató y se trata de superar el estupor, la incomprensión y de entender, para lo cual resulta altamente significativo este espacio de diálogo del que participamos. En efecto, para enseñar nuestra disciplina desde el año 2020, con la convicción de que el conocimiento histórico posibilita a mayor escala la comprensión de nuestro mundo y la vida en democracia, recorrimos un camino sin certezas ni verdades consagradas. Pero sin duda, sesgado por ideas, representaciones, prácticas y el orden pre-determinado de lo deseable, todo lo cual tuvimos que analizar, procurando avizorar nuevas posibilidades y problemas disciplinares y didácticos en un mundo en transformación, absolutamente condicionado por una pandemia implacable. Por ello, y sumergiéndonos en el fluir de estos tiempos y el compromiso con la educación histórica, nadamos a contracorriente a partir de las actuales demandas y conflictos, con propuestas, a nuestro criterio, estimulantes para nuestro presente y sus proyecciones a futuro, sobre todo en este momento de esperanzas fortalecidas por la recuperación de la presencialidad y el contacto directo con nuestros estudiantes y colegas.
