description This writing examines reflections on subjective and social repercussions that the process of isolation and social distancing has had in some young people, particularly in young migrants who have come to study at universities in Córdoba, who were already dealing with rootlessness from their homes. We have written this paper within the framework of a research process that has been developing since 2016 in three universities located in the city of Córdoba, in which one of the addressed objectives was to identify the subjective, social, and intellectual effects that produce uprooting in student subjects. The uprooting processes could be reviewed in the new context of the pandemic, to discover other repercussions that it has had on youths. Within this exceptional context, the significance of the psychosocial aspects of learning became even more evident. It was also necessary to build action schemes and new facilitating habits of virtual communication to achieve communication that avoids the breakdown of intersubjective relationships essential to preserve psychosocial and biological health.
