During that period them families migrant not only is settled in the margins of the ejido urban, thickening them sectors more vulnerable of the city but together with them also moved their beliefs and devotions, between which is the Virgin of Urkupiña. We are dealing with the Marian cult from the Catholic practices of “religiosity” or “popular piety” that are part of the beliefs and collective religious practices of different social groups; and as cultural and religious building belonging, reconsider symbolic behaviors and consecrated the local space. In that vein, in the present article we intend to advance in the study of this devotion from the appropriation and sacralization of the public space, from its incorporation in 2015 from their cultural practice to the parish liturgical calendar, with an emphasis on the reconfiguration of roles in the initiator of the cult and the migrant community devoted family and the creation of the Bolivian Ministry within the Diocesan Pastoral of migrations. The methodology that we use will be the analysis of oral interviews with related keys (representatives of religious institution and devout and not devout migrants) and the participant observation of the cult.
