Based on an ethnographic fieldwork carried out between 2013 and 2016, it replenishes the dynamic of this conflict, its emergence, development and dilution, as well as the intervention of the different actors involved and some of the criteria and arguments brought into play in this process. On this basis, the paper aims to show the complexity of the modalities of management and intervention of the State in the territory and contribute to the reflection on daily politics and processes of collective action in popular neighborhoods. Este trabajo describe el devenir de un conflicto por relocalizaciones en un barrio popular de La Plata, motivado por el desarrollo de una obra de infraestructura hidráulica. En base a un trabajo de campo etnográfico llevado a cabo entre 2013 y 2016, repone la dinámica que este conflicto fue adoptando, su emergencia, desarrollo y dilución, así como la intervención de los distintos actores involucrados y algunos de los criterios y argumentos puestos en juego en este proceso. A partir de este recorrido, el trabajo se propone dar cuenta de la complejidad de las modalidades de gestión e intervención del Estado en territorio y contribuir a la reflexión sobre política cotidiana y procesos de acción colectiva en barrios populares.
