La imagen de control de los cuerpos de los hombres negros como una fuente de peligro y la impureza sostiene régimen brasileño de dominación racial, y los relatos de violencia hacen explícitas las formas en que se imaginó la nación brasileña, aunque un underpinning.Blackness racial se consume como un producto exótico, pero también se entiende como una amenaza a la armonía nacional. La nación es, pues, escrito y re-imaginado como un paraíso racial, pero sobre todo al inscribir la muerte en el cuerpo negro. |
