In this article, we will refer to the textile industry, one of the main productive activities in which indigenous groups participated in Córdoba during the early colonial years. Tissues were held in the "pueblos de indios" of rural areas, on which we have previous works, among other we highlight the research of Gaston Doucet about the "pueblo del Quilpo", and relate our progress in urban houses of colonizer on which relate to our research advances. Este trabajo es parte de una investigación cuyo objetivo general consiste en el análisis de las formas que adoptaron las relaciones establecidas entre las sociedades indígenas y el sistema colonial español en la jurisdicción de Córdoba, desde su fundación en 1573 hasta 1620, con especial énfasis sobre las diversas características que presentó la participación de la población indígena en las actividades mercantiles incentivadas u organizadas por los colonos españoles. En este artículo nos referiremos a la producción textil, una de las principales actividades productivas en la que participaron los grupos indígenas de Córdoba durante los primeros años coloniales. Los tejidos se realizaban en los pueblos de indios rurales, sobre los cuales contamos con trabajos previos donde se destaca la importante investigación de Gastón Doucet sobre el pueblo de Quilpo, y también en las casas urbanas de los encomenderos sobre los cuales se refieren nuestros avances de investigación.
