Since its inception the Peronist opposition had among its different sectors of rural society, stressing the Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA). The rule deepened this opposition was the Estatuto del Peón, which regulated the work of permanent rural workers. In this paper we analyze and compare two publications were as antagonistic: Hechos e Ideas magazine (HEI), which between 1947 and 1955 had a political position close to the ruling; and the Anales de la Sociedad Rural Argentina, which was from the beginning the defense of cattle interests. In short, try to understand how the new standard were both publications, and therefore, the model of rural society that both supported. El conflicto de 2008 entre el gobierno nacional y diferentes sectores de la producción rural es el último de una serie de enfrentamientos que pueden rastrearse hasta la década de 1940. Desde sus inicios el peronismo tuvo entre sus opositores a diferentes sectores de la sociedad rural, destacándose la Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA). La norma que profundizó esa oposición fue el Estatuto del Peón, que reguló el trabajo de los obreros rurales permanentes. En este trabajo analizamos y comparamos como lo recibieron dos publicaciones antagónicas: la revista Hechos e Ideas (HeI), que entre 1947 y 1955 tuvo una postura política cercana al oficialismo; y los Anales de la Sociedad Rural Argentina, que constituyó desde sus orígenes el órgano defensor de los intereses ganaderos. En síntesis, intentaremos comprender como recibieron la nueva norma ambas publicaciones, y por ende, el modelo de sociedad rural que ambas sostenían.
