In this work they are analyzed, besides the agrarian structure that ensued from the distribution of the Patagonian lands post-conquest, the policies of lands of the radical governments and his effects in the national territories of the south, with the intention to establish possible comparative instances with what happened in more ancient provinces and with another juridical - political status since it is Jujuy's case. Las políticas públicas que definieron el proceso de distribución/apropiación de la tierra en los espacios patagónicos incorporados al Estado nacional luego de la conquista militar a fines del siglo XIX, dieron lugar a una estructura agraria en la que un núcleo minoritario de grandes propiedades conviviría con un número muy significativo de pequeños y medianos propietarios, arrendatarios y ocupantes de hecho de campos fiscales, todos dedicados mayoritariamente a la actividad ganadera extensiva. Con el inicio de los gobiernos radicales se planteó una reformulación de las políticas referidas a la tierra pública, cuyos resultados, sin embargo, expresaron una profunda diferencia entre los objetivos que se pretendía alcanzar y los resultados concretos de su aplicación, en un contexto de creciente conflictividad social. En este trabajo se analizan, además de la estructura agraria que resultó de la distribución de las tierras patagónicas post-conquista, las políticas de tierras de los gobiernos radicales y sus efectos en los territorios nacionales del sur, con la intención de establecer posibles instancias comparativas con lo que sucedió en provincias más antiguas y con otro status jurídico-político como es el caso de Jujuy.
