In this sense, it examines the attributions that royal and viceroyal normative instruments gave to the second judge of visita and composición of Charcas. Thereby, it focuses in the empirical case of Suipacha lands, in the Tarija province. Finally, through its reconsideration since the formalized accusations against the judge in his residencia, the article explores the judicial practices developed by social actors in order to achieve the agreement. El presente trabajo reflexiona sobre la noción de concierto entre partes propio de la composición como figura jurídica, a partir de su implementación en la primera visita y composición de tierras y de extranjeros en el distrito de Charcas, virreinato del Perú. En ese sentido, se abordan las atribuciones que los instrumentos normativos regios y vicerregios otorgaron al segundo juez de visita y composición charqueño. A continuación, se analiza el caso empírico de las tierras de Suipacha, en el corregimiento de Tarija y, finalmente, a partir de su relectura en el marco de las imputaciones formalizadas contra el juez en su residencia, se evalúan las prácticas jurídicas desplegadas por los actores sociales tendientes a lograr el concierto.
