Argentina 1970-1976 Trucco Dalmas, Ana música cultura política lucha armada music culture politics armed struggle The present work explores the role played by a set of musical objects in an armed organization (Montoneros), as well as the uses these objects were given, and the meanings they adopted and mobilized in Argentina in the seventies. To this purpose, two record productions were analyzed: the Cancionero de la Liberación and the Cantata Montonera, paying special attention to the different processes that made their integration into the Montonero musical universe possible. Since we set out to analyze a type of cultural practice deployed in a social area where politics played a central role, this essay is part of a cultural history of politics.
