As part of a broader development of the first police configurations that began in the late eighteenth century, here we examine the regulations, resources and territorial divisions that occurred in the 1820s, when the police took on the form of a Department within the framework of the Rivadavia project. We use a vast arch of documents that include the daily police reports, trials and legislation of the period, to analyze the ways in which the dynamics of police stations became an input to the political equipment of territory.  El siguiente trabajo se propone una indagación inicial sobre el proceso de configuración de las comisarías, también llamadas secciones o departamentos, en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Como parte de un desarrollo más amplio de las primeras configuraciones policiales que inician a fines del siglo XVIII, aquí examinamos la normativa, los recursos y las divisiones territoriales que se producen en la década de 1820, cuando la policía toma forma de Departamento en el marco del proyecto rivadaviano.
