Mangiantini, Martín port workers rationalization Onganía’s dictatorship portuarios racionalización “Onganiato” The article addresses the strike at the port of Buenos Aires between the months of October and December 1966 during the beginning of the dictatorship of Onganía. This conflict became the beginning of a business rationalization defended by the government. The result of the conflict was negative for workers. However, its characteristics anticipated some elements which can be identified more certainly after May of 1969, during the political and ideological radicalization process that was lived with the denominated Cordobazo.
