| Sumario: | This article deals with the formative years of José Luis Romero (Buenos Aires, 1909–Tokyo, 1977) and seeks points of analysis that allow us to address his conception of historiography. To this end, I will pay particular attention to the slow forging of his thematic and theoretical concerns in the historiographical sphere during the first half of the 1930s. This is, in short, both a reading exercise in terms of the history of historiography and an effort to insert Romero into the multiple fields of forces of cultural and intellectual life in our country. |
