Summing up, the flow of information between producers and institutions of southern Santa Fe province is influenced, in the last decade by the incursion and acquisition of new communication technologies, the speaks are still a traditional and irreplaceable contact tool, the information from private institutions is closely linked to economic interests; soy, as most widespread crop in the area, focuses more media notes, the movile phone is the most popular new technology, regardless of the income of the users, unlike the use of Internet; the are differences between messages from those of public institutions and private institutions; the frequency of messages ranges from weekly, biweekly and monthly, and finally that new information and communication technologies set aiming contact instances more difficult to support over time as a process. |

Desde el año 2005 un equipo interdisciplinario de docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario comenzaron un trabajo conjunto con el fin de desarrollar y analizar las redes de comunicación que se establecen entre productores agropecuarios e instituciones agrarias de la región sur de la provincia de Santa Fe, República Argentina.Se trabajaron con productores e instituciones de las localidades de Maciel; Bernardo de Irigoyen; Pujato (2 casos); Casilda; Carcarañá y Fuentes (2 casos).Se realizaron entrevistas con productores y con informantes calificados; se elaboraron cuestionarios y se revisaron y seleccionaron datos secundarios, suministrados por organismos gubernamentales y no gubernamentales.Para este trabajo fue necesario retomar y problematizar temas referidos al flujo de la información y de la comunicación en el ámbito rural, en un ambiente de fuerte desarrollo de las Nuevas Tecnologías. También fue indispensable repensar los lugares de encuentros, contextualizados por los ciclos de crisis económico-sociales por los que atravesó, en la última década, nuestro país.Se concluye que el flujo de la información entre productores e Instituciones del sur de la provincia de Santa Fe se ve influenciado, en la última década, por la incursión y adquisición de nuevas tecnologías de la comunicación; las charlas siguen siendo una herramienta tradicional e irremplazable de contacto; la información proveniente de Instituciones Privadas está íntimamente ligada a intereses económicos; la soja, como cultivo más extendido de la zona, es quien concentra mayor información desde la difusión; el celular es la nueva tecnología más popular, independientemente del ingreso económico de los usuarios; no así el uso de Internet; se encuentran diferencias entre los mensajes provenientes de Instituciones Públicas y aquellos de Instituciones Privadas; la periodicidad de los mensajes oscila entre informaciones semanales, quincenales y mensuales; y finalmente que las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación establecen instancias puntuales de contacto, más difíciles de mantener en el tiempo como un proceso.
