Their confrontation is arranged and orchestrated in an anachronical way, in conformity with the method of "plagiarism in advance," in order for us to take the full measure of Arnould's resistance to Lenin's recuperation of the Paris Commune and to grasp the unbreachable discrepancy between these two revolutionaries as well as their respective views of the State’s power and of its destruction. Dos libros con el mismo título, El Estado y la Revolución, fueron publicados con cuarenta años de diferencia: el primero, escrito en 1877 por el comunero Arthur Arnould, el segundo, en 1917 por Lenin, quien ignoraba por completo el anterior. Su confrontación está anacrónicamente construida y orquestada según el método del “plagio por anticipación”, para medir la fuerza de la resistencia que Arnould opone a la toma ideológica de la Comuna de París por Lenin y captar el irreductible disenso no sólo de los dos revolucionarios, sino, más ampliamente, del comunalismo y el leninismo en su respectiva relación con el poder del Estado y con su destrucción.
