This work presents a portable rainfall micro-simulator entirely designed, constructed and calibrated in the Hydraulics Laboratory (UTN Facultad Regional Córdoba). This apparatus is completely disassembled and defines a test plot of 1 m². It aims at the in situ measurement of various hydrological parameters. All the drop-formers, built with 289 needles (diameter 0.8 mm), feeding on a tray with variable hydraulic head h (10 to 20 cm), which allows intensities i between 65 and 120 mm/h. Fall height of drops is 1.85 m, and its average diameter of 5.2 mm. Although there were initial estimates of the i-h relationship, a calibration was needed on the prototype to reflect actual operating conditions. Measurements were made using 5 raingauges distributed in the test plot, with 10 observations per hydraulic head, for a total of 7 heads, which amounted 350 experimental data. After careful statistical analysis it was possible to fit apotential curve between head and intensity, with an uncertainty of ±3 mm/hour, about 86% to the theoretical values expected. First in-situ experimental observations were successful, compared with double-ring infiltrometer technique widely used in this Laboratory. |

En este trabajo se presenta un microsimulador de lluvia portátil íntegramente diseñado, construido y calibrado en el Laboratorio de Hidráulica (UTN Facultad Regional Córdoba). Este equipo, que es completamente desarmable y define una parcela de ensayo de 1 m², tiene como finalidad la medición in situ de diversos parámetros hidrológicos. El conjunto de formadores de gotas, construido con 289 agujas hipodérmicas (diámetro 0.8 mm), se alimenta de una batea con carga variable (entre 10 y 20 cm), que permite intensidades entre los 65 y 120 mm/h,la altura de caída es de 1.85 m y su diámetro medio de 5.2 mm. Si bien se contaba con una estimación inicial de la relación buscada, fue necesario una calibración sobre el prototipo para tener en cuenta las condiciones reales de operación. Las mediciones fueron realizadas utilizando 5 pluviómetros distribuidos en la parcela de estudio, con 10 observaciones por carga, para un total de 7 cargas, lo que totalizó un universo de 350 datos experimentales. Luego de un cuidadoso análisisestadístico, fue posible ajustar una curva potencial entre carga e intensidad, con una incertidumbre de ±3mm/h, aproximándoseen un 86% los valores teóricos esperados. Los primeros ensayos de campo realizados muestran resultados satisfactorios, en comparación con la técnica del infiltrómetro de doble anillo utilizada hasta el presente en este Laboratorio.
