Landscape units with better natural conditions have low risk due to the use of pesticides products for all sequences of annual crops. Regarding the indicators that make up the index, the presence of the active ingredient was the highest in all landscape units, with air being the lowest risk in general. The one of superficial water was low for the six uses in the best landscape units and high in those of worse natural characteristics, the one of underground water did not show a clear association between types of uses and units of landscape. The index of integration used was useful to discriminate the environmental risks derived from the application of pesticides products in annual agricultural crops in different sectors of the basin.

En cuatro unidades de paisaje se seleccionaron seis tipos de usos anuales agrícolas. En cada combinación se evaluó el riesgo ambiental por la aplicación de fitosanitarios a través de un índice de integración. Se determinaron las pautas de gestión de los fitosanitarios relacionadas con el tipo de principio activo, dosis y tecnología de aplicación. El índice consideró información de clima, de suelo y del sitio de aplicación. Las unidades de paisaje con mejores condiciones naturales poseen bajo riesgo por el uso de fitosanitarios para todas las secuencias de cultivos anuales. Respecto a los indicadores que conforman el índice, el de presencia del principio activo fue el más elevado en todas las unidades de paisaje, siendo el de aire el de menor riesgo, en general. El de agua superficial fue bajo para los seis usos en las mejores unidades paisajísticas y alto en las de peores características naturales, el de agua subterránea no mostró una asociación clara entre tipos de usos y unidades de paisaje. El índice de integración utilizado fue útil para discriminar los riesgos ambientales derivados de la aplicación de fitosanitarios en cultivos agrícolas anuales en distintos sectores de la cuenca.
