The positions of the intellectuals toward the government did not show any significant differences in the months immediately following Néstor Kirchner's election to the presidency in terms of names or media outlets. Since the start of 2004, the Executive's policies of memory, truth, and justice have prompted a review of the 1970s in key autobiographical works among intellectuals, which has sparked a process of differentiation between those who questioned them and those who supported them. In 2008, since the confrontation over farming tax retentions, intellectuals increased their media presence in a contentious discourse characterized by antagonistic logic. Este artículo reconstruye las intervenciones de los intelectuales con inserción académica en los medios gráficos -en formato papel y digital- entre 2003 y 2008. En los meses inmediatos posteriores a la asunción de Néstor Kirchner a la presidencia, los posicionamientos de los intelectuales frente al gobierno no mostraron diferenciaciones importantes en cuanto a nombres propios o medios de comunicación. Las políticas de memoria, verdad y justicia implementadas por el Ejecutivo desde comienzos de 2004 provocó entre los intelectuales una revisión de los años 70 en clave autobiográfica que inició un proceso de diferenciación entre quienes las cuestionaron y quienes las aprobaron. A partir de 2008, en el contexto de lo que se denominó “el conflicto con el campo”, los intelectuales aumentaron su participación en la prensa en una trama discursiva caracterizada por una lógica antagónica.
