In 1936 this objective had been reached and the communists hegemonized the new National Confederation of Workers, a leadership that they would maintain for a decade to lose it abruptly and violently after the bloody civil war of 1947. This paper aims to analyze how it built the communist hegemony in the labor movement and the particular characteristics assumed by the relationship between the Communist Party and the Union Organizations.
