The methodology used was qualitative research, with twenty semi-structured interviews, then the data was analyzed under the constant comparison method of Glaser and Strauss accompanied by ATLAS.ti Software. In the ideology of males, sexuality acquires a role of fundamental importance, likewise the definition of being a man is based on the absolute denial of homosexuality, and on the other hand, it was observed that sociocultural transformations are taking place in the ways of being of men. El género existe en la medida en que la biología no determina lo social, en este marco el artículo pretende analizar los sentidos que jóvenes estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina, construyen en relación a su sexualidad. Las reflexiones que muestro surgen de una investigación para mi tesis de licenciatura realizada en el año 2017. La metodología utilizada fue investigación cualitativa, con veinte entrevistas semiestructuradas, luego se analizaron los datos bajo el método de comparación constante de Glaser y Strauss acompañados del software ATLAS.ti. En la ideología de los varones, la sexualidad adquiere un papel de fundamental importancia, asimismo la definición de ser varón se hace en función de la negación absoluta de la homosexualidad, por otro lado, se observó que se están gestando transformaciones socioculturales en las formas de ser de los varones.
