This study consisted of the systematic survey, during several years, of vascular plant species in order to expand the floristic knowledge of the area and analyze the role of railways as potential biological corridors in highly anthropized areas. En el presente trabajo se dan a conocer 22 nuevas citas de especies de plantas vasculares para el departamento Caseros, Santa Fe, Argentina. Estos nuevos registros son el resultado parcial del estudio de una porción de vía férrea que atraviesa el ejido urbano de la ciudad de Casilda, en su zona céntrica. Tal estudio consistió en el relevamiento sistemático, durante varios años, de especies de plantas vasculares con el fin de ampliar el conocimiento florístico de la zona y analizar el rol que cumplen las vías férreas como potenciales corredores biológicos en áreas altamente antropizadas. No presente trabalho são apresentados 22 novos registos de espécies de plantas vasculares para o departamento Caseros, Santa Fe, Argentina. Estes novos registos são o resultado parcial do estudo de uma porção da via férrea que atravessa a área urbana da cidade de Casilda, na sua zona central.
