Aguirre, Micaela Memoria Juventud Conflicto armado Hechos recordados Memory Youth Armed conflict Remembered facts The following article is one of the final products of the research project “Pedagogy of memory: for a past that is taught and builds peace from school”, an initiative framed within the Fundación Universitaria Católica del Norte. It addresses one of the specific objectives of the research, aimed at revealing practices and discourses that youth attribute to the past lived in Colombia around violence and armed conflict. The methodology of the research was qualitative and historical hermeneutic, through the autobiographical method and the narrative interview technique directed to 15 young people from four educational institutions of Commune 6 of Medellín. The exercise is based on two central categories: remembered events and effects of violence and, from there, recovers the collective memories and the meanings constructed around the armed conflict. In this way, it lands on the importance of the participation of youth in the territories to contribute to the process of rebuilding a more peaceful and just society, the strengthening of collective identity, the social fabric and the promotion of peace. El artículo a continuación constituye uno de los productos finales del proyecto investigativo “Pedagogía de la memoria: por un pasado que se enseña y construye paces desde la escuela”, iniciativa enmarcada en la Fundación Universitaria Católica del Norte. Se da cuenta de uno de los objetivos específicos de la investigación, orientado a develar prácticas y discursos que las juventudes le atribuyen al pasado vivido en Colombia en torno a la violencia y conflicto armado. La metodología de la investigación fue de tipo cualitativo e histórica hermenéutica, a través del método autobiográfico y la técnica de entrevista narrativa dirigida a 15 jóvenes de cuatro instituciones educativas de la Comuna 6 de Medellín. El ejercicio parte de dos categorías centrales: hechos recordados y afecciones por la violencia y, desde allí, recupera las memorias colectivas y los sentidos construidos en torno al conflicto armado. De esa manera, se aterriza en la importancia de la participación de las juventudes en los territorios para contribuir al proceso de reconstrucción de una sociedad más pacífica y justa, el fortalecimiento de la identidad colectiva, del tejido social y la promoción de la paz.
