We start by analyzing the problem separately and then together, approaching through vulnerability layers, public policies as well as accessibility and work on devices. The methodology that accompanied the writing process is systematization and in- depth interviews with both social work professionals and homeless people with problematic consumption of psychoactive substances. Arriving at the following conclusions: by the year 2022 there is no device created and designed from its bases for this problem; the need for an interdisciplinary professional team in the treatment facilities where social work begins to occupy and claim leadership and management positions; generate the necessary approaches in order to ensure a facilitated entry, an accompanied permanence and a safe exit of people. El presente trabajo aborda la problemática de las personas en situación de calle con consumo problemático de sustancias psicoactivas en la ciudad de Mar del Plata en el año 2022. Partimos por analizar la problemática de forma separada y luego en conjunto, abordando a través de las capas de vulnerabilidad las políticas públicas, así como la accesibilidad y el trabajo en los dispositivos. La metodología que acompañó el proceso de escritura es la sistematización y las entrevistas en profundidad tanto a profesionales del Trabajo Social como a personas en situación de calle con consumo problemático de sustancias psicoactivas. Se arribó a las siguientes conclusiones: no existe al año 2022 un dispositivo creado y diseñado desde sus bases para esta problemática; la necesidad de un equipo profesional interdisciplinario en los dispositivos de tratamiento donde el trabajo social comience a ocupar y reclamar cargos de dirección y gestión; generar los abordajes necesarios en pos de asegurar un ingreso facilitado, una permanencia acompañada y un egreso seguro de las personas.
