I review and criticize both the canonical forms in which we were molded to carry out this practice and the social, technical and sexual division of labor that invests certain spaces as those authorized for written production and hierarchizes the disciplinary/professional fields more suitable to perform it. On the other hand, I recover the notion of experience as the raw material of writing, the resistances and the possibilities of turning them into political interventions that not only consolidate and legitimize the field but also make visible the vulnerable living conditions of large sectors of the population. El artículo, basado en una exposición realizada para la ONG “Identidades comunitarias” de la ciudad de Veracruz, México en el 2021, trata sobre la escritura de las y los profesionales que se desempeñan en los espacios socio asistenciales, en particular de las y los trabajadores sociales. Reviso y critico tanto las formas canónicas en las que fuimos moldeados a la hora de llevar adelante esta práctica como la división social, técnica y sexual del trabajo que inviste a ciertos espacios como los autorizados para la producción escrita y jerarquiza los campos disciplinares/profesionales más aptos para realizarla. Por otra parte recupero la noción de experiencia como materia prima de la escritura, las resistencias y las posibilidades de convertirlas en intervenciones políticas que no sólo consolida y legitima al campo sino que hace visible las condiciones de vida vulneralizadas de grandes sectores de la población.
