Sumario:In this paper we are interested in analysing the characteristics that acquires contemporary school experience, especially in relation to building links inter and intra- generations. We seek to focus on the processes of school life and in situations of perceived discrimination by the students in their institutions, as a way of producing reflections that allow discuss the characteristics they acquire interactions in the school space. We understand that the category “youth” can illuminate wider social processes, particularly the ways the social interactions. The paper is organized into three sections. In the first one a discussion on contemporary forms of production of youth is presented. Then a tour is done by studies on youth, coexistence and school violence in Argentina. Finally, in the third section research findings from the Education Area FLACSO where we investigate situations of discrimination and processes of school life that the young people perceive about building their schools as a way to reflect present inter and intra generational ties.
