From working with young people who participated in a device aimed at that population in a provincial health effector of a city in Argentina, between 2017 and 2020, we developed our conception of adolescence, the aggressiveness inherent in it and the place of peers. Given the effects of violence in the contexts in which they live, we reaffirm the importance for their health of caring for these relationships in which friendship and institutions will be of great importance. En este artículo abordamos la relación entre mujeres adolescentes y los procesos de salud enfermedad, desde perspectivas de género e interculturalidad. A partir del trabajo con jóvenes que participaron de un dispositivo dirigido a esa población en un efector de salud provincial de una ciudad de Argentina, entre 2017 y 2020, desarrollamos nuestra concepción de adolescencia, la agresividad inherente a ella y el lugar de les pares. Dado los efectos que genera en esos lazos la violencia de los contextos que habitan, reafirmamos la importancia para su salud de cuidar de estas relaciones en las que la amistad y las instituciones serán de gran importancia.
