The novelty is the inclusion in the childhood health/disease care system of a clinical–playful area which tries to help the child and his family to overcome the discomfort of admission reasons and the one produced by the admission itself. This system provides the work-toghether among different disciplines making diagnosis and treatment of the patient and his family. This facilitation, essential for the integral attention of health, is often invisible or devalued by the team itself. We try through this analysis to give it the importance it deserves. Este artículo se propone visibilizar el modo de trabajo particular de la Sala de Internación Pediátrica del Hospital Provincial de Rosario en lo que respecta a los cuidados de la infancia por parte del equipo interdisciplinario. Dicha novedad reside en la inclusión en la atención/cuidado de dispositivos lúdico–clínicos destinados a la elaboración por parte del niño y su familia de los padecimientos por los cuales se internan y aquellos producidos por la internación. Estos dispositivos facilitan el encuentro entre las distintas disciplinas que integran la sala para permitir la construcción conjunta del diagnóstico y el tratamiento del paciente y su familia. Esta facilitación, imprescindible para la atención integral en salud, queda muchas veces invisibilizada o naturalizada para el mismo equipo, por ello intentamos exponerla aquí para su jerarquización.
