In Argentina, aid to Republicans takes the form of the first pillar of national anti-fascism.Although there are numerous studies that address the issue, few have focused on the role of women in this time of anti-fascism; Most of the analyzes carried out remain in an enumerative description of the tasks they carried out, reinforcing the idea of the traditional division of roles and activities between the sexes; In this way it is unknown to these feminine practices as a tangible and own form of participation in the public scene. In this work, we study a particular group, the Argentine Committee of Prophylactic Spanish Orphans, through the analysis of the case of Bahia Blanca during the years 1937-1939.
