The Primera Argentina lime factory, whose owner and designer was Juan Bialet Massé, was part of an industrialization process. In the space that was its headquarters there are vestiges that allow us to reconstruct the splendor and end of a pioneering company. The archeology of the "Primera Argentina" factory, which was located on that property, as a center for the production of hydraulic lime from the surviving structures, is addressed here in order to integrate historical and archaeological studies. This presentation describes the character of the records obtained. Una parte importante del desarrollo industrial de la capital de la Provincia de Córdoba y sus área vecinastuvo lugar en relación con el riego de los llamados Altos de la ciudad y con el represamiento de los ríos Cosquín y San Roque, en las cabeceras del Suquía (río Primero), el que dio lugar al endicamiento del lago San Roque. La fábrica calera Primera Argentina, cuyo propietario y diseñador fuera Juan Bialet Massé formó parte de un proceso industrializador. En el espacio que fuera su sede existen vestigios que permiten reconstruir el esplendor y final de una empresa pionera. Se aborda aquí la arqueología de la fábrica “Primera Argentina”, que se encontraba en ese predio, como centro de la producción de cal hidráulica a partir de las estructuras sobrevivientes con la finalidad de integrar estudios históricos y arqueológicos. Esta presentación describe el carácter de los registros obtenidos. Uma parte importante do desenvolvimento industrial da capital da Província de Córdoba e seus arredores ocorreu em relação à irrigação dos chamados Altos da cidade e com o represamento dos rios Cosquín e San Roque, nas cabeceiras do Suquía (rio Primeiro), o que deu origem à dedicação do Lago San Roque. A fábrica de cal Primera Argentina, cujo proprietário e projetista era Juan Bialet Massé, fazia parte de um processo de industrialização. No espaço que foi a sua sede existem vestígios que nos permitem reconstituir o esplendor e fim de uma empresa pioneira. A arqueologia da fábrica "Primera Argentina", que se localizava naquela propriedade, como centro de produção de cal hidráulica a partir das estruturas sobreviventes, é aqui abordada de forma a integrar estudos históricos e arqueológicos. Esta apresentação descreve o caráter dos registros obtidos.
