This work presents one of them, the Casco Antiguo de Piedra Blanca, located in the foothills and on the right bank of the White Stone river, main course of the upper basin of the Fourth river.This site is considered representative of the material living conditions that had in the second half of the nineteenth century rural residents of the mountain region located at the top of the socio-economic scale. The study seeks to advance their knowledge, focusing on the main constructive features that their structures possess and making chronological-functional inferences about them. En la sección sur de la Sierra de Comechingones, Departamento Río Cuarto, Provincia de Córdoba, se han localizado numerosos sitios arqueológicos rurales cuya antigüedad se ubica en el lapso que media entre la época tardo colonial y las primeras décadas del siglo XX. Este trabajo presenta uno de ellos, el Casco Antiguo de Piedra Blanca, situado en el piedemonte y en la margen derecha del río Piedra Blanca, curso principal de la cuenca alta del río Cuarto. Se considera a este sitio representativo de las condiciones materiales de vida que tuvieron en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX pobladores rurales de la región serrana ubicados en lo alto de la escala socioeconómica. El estudio procura avanzar en su conocimiento, enfocándose en los rasgos constructivos principales que poseen sus estructuras y realizando inferencias de orden cronológico-funcional sobre las mismas. No trecho meridional da serra Comechingones, Departamento IV Rio, Província de Córdoba, localizam-se numerosos sítios arqueológicos rurais cuja antiguidade se situa no período compreendido entre o final do período colonial e as primeiras décadas do século XX. Esta obra apresenta um deles, o Casco Antiguo de Piedra Blanca, localizado no sopé e na margem direita do rio Pedra Branca, curso principal da bacia superior do Rio IV. Que teve na segunda metade do século XIX. residentes rurais da região montanhosa localizada no topo da escala socioeconômica. O estudo visa avançar os seus conhecimentos, focando nas principais características construtivas que as suas estruturas possuem e fazendo inferências cronológico-funcionais sobre elas.
