To contain the spread of COVID-19, many countries imposed border closures and they have had a significant impact on transport and logistics, which are involved in the movement, storage, and flow of goods. The impact of COVID-19 was first felt in China due to the role it plays in global manufacturing, leading to lockdowns and border closures that restricted the movement of goods and thus transportation. However, it quickly spread around the world, resulting in a significant increase in logistics costs, which further affected Argentina's weakened exports.
