The event had the important participation of various speakers from the field of higher education and teacher training. The Latin American Meeting was aimed at students and professors of higher education from various careers related to recreation, physical education and other teaching, technical and artistic careers. The event was organized in a format similar to a congress, with various proposals for the attendees: panels, book and magazine presentations, reports of experiences, workshops, gatherings and recreational devices. The event had a large participation of attendees and speakers from various places in Argentina and Latin America, representing a success regarding its organization and having been able to take place in person in times that alternates between pandemic and post-COVID 19 pandemic. El Encuentro Latinoamericano de Recreación Comunitaria “Abriendo el Juego en Santa Fe” ha sido un evento organizado en la ciudad de Santa Fe, Argentina del 12 al 14 de mayo de 2022. El evento contó con la importante participación de diversos ponentes del ámbito de la educación y formación docente del nivel superior. El Encuentro Latinoamericano estuvo destinado a estudiantes y profesores de nivel superior de diversas carreras afines a la recreación, la educación física y otras carreras docentes, técnicas y artísticas. El evento estuvo organizado en un formato similar a un congreso contando con diversas propuestas para los asistentes: paneles, presentaciones de libros y revistas, relatos de experiencias, talleres, tertulias y dispositivos lúdicos. El evento contó con una numerosa participación de asistentes y ponentes de diversos lugares de Argentina y Latinoamérica, representando un éxito con respecto a su organización y al haber podido realizarse de forma presencial en tiempos que alternan entre pandemia y pospandemia de COVID 19.
