This paper aims to present some aspects of the process of circulation of educational rights in confinement contexts: learning practices and since that, the agency of subsistence conditions. Methodologically, we use ethnography, prioritizing the description and analysis of activities of imprisoned students and the meanings that they attributed to them. El desarrollo cotidiano de las actividades en un Centro Universitario que funciona dentro de un complejo penitenciario se presenta signado por el despliegue de una serie de prácticas operadas por los actores involucrados (estudiantes, docentes, agentes) destinadas a facilitar la articulación entre unas acciones restrictivas orientadas a la seguridad, y otras que pujan por la ampliación de derechos. Este trabajo propone evidenciar algunos aspectos del proceso de circulación de derechos educativos en contextos de encierro: prácticas de aprendizaje y, a partir de éstas, el agenciamiento de condiciones de subsistencia. Metodológicamente el presente trabajo utiliza la etnografía, priorizando la descripción y el análisis de actividades de estudiantes detenidos/as y los sentidos que les atribuyen a las mismas.
